My web design business Imagery Studio is soon to be moving (hopefully) into a new office space. With that, we need to get BOP insurance or a "Business Operators Policy". What is the crazy thing is that many insurance companies frown on writing these policies for web designers! They consider us a "high risk"! We don't get high volume traffic coming throught the front door on a daily basis like Dunkin Donuts or something!
Some quotes I've received have been insane for a $500,000-$1,000,000 coverage.
I wonder if we had a Russian Roulette Studio would they consider it less of a risk?
Maybe they figure clients will slice their wrists in disgust when they see their finished sites!
I don't think I suck that bad!
